As a business owner or an individual heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of your company – what would you consider one of your biggest challenges?
If you are like many, you may say something along the lines of, “There aren’t enough hours in the day.” Sound about right? Finding the time to navigate through each day’s challenges can be a daunting task.
Since it’s impossible to add hours back into each day (except, of course, at the expense of other things..sleep…your customers…your family, etc.) – the challenge shifts to finding ways to make your time more efficient.
This can be as simple as shortening meetings, as logistical as revising the layout of your facility, or as forward thinking as looking to invest in more productive technology.
But what if there were a way to make your next technology investment work harder for you? What if it could deliver more performance, achieve greater quality, pack more flexibility and help drive better results?
Gone are the days where you must figure out how to do more with less. The latest addition to the Xerox production portfolio, the Xerox Versant 2100 Press, encourages you to do more with more. Here’s how:

More Performance.

Fitting in a price and performance space between the Xerox® Color C75/J75 and Xerox® 800/1000 Press, the Xerox Versant 2100 Press packs a lot of power into a very small footprint. With a starting size of just 80 cubic feet, this workhorse delivers mid-entry production color volumes with high-entry production color speeds.
This can be explained in part by a new, compact belt fuser which enables quick job turnaround times and print speeds of up to 100 pages per minute for stocks up to 300gsm. It will even auto-perfect stocks up to 350 gsm.
Downtime associated with paper jams has also been significantly reduced. In competitive presses, an operator may be forced to clear upwards of 15 sheets spread across different jammed locations before they are able to resume printing.
Fortunately, the Xerox Versant 2100 makes this process incredibly simple with the addition of a new Auto Sheet Clearing feature. In the event of a jam, all sheets after the point of the jam will be automatically purged and all remaining sheets before the jam will automatically be cleared once the site of the jam has been tended to.

More Quality
Quality has always been, and will always be, one of the most important criteria for your customers. But you can’t slow your operation down in order to achieve outstanding image quality.
The Versant 2100 features new levels of sophistication and automation to make achieving outstanding image quality easier than ever before. This is done in a few key ways:
1. Greater integrated automation, thanks to the inline Xerox-exclusive Full Width Array. This helps to automate critical tasks, such as (1) baselining the press’ TRCs and density uniformity in minutes, (2) correcting registration, perpendicularity, skew and magnification, and (3) automating color calibration and profiling with the Automated Color Quality Suite. which in turn reduces your costs, waste and time.
2. Higher levels of precision with Production Accurate Registration (PAR), which is a combination of hardware and software technologies that ensures the ability to hold tight, stable registration from page to page and run to run. This is accomplished using electronic sensors and other hardware controls to ensure the paper stays registered along the entire paper path.

3. More quality as Ultra HD Resolution produces extremely fine details and sharp images, graphics, and text. Both the EFI and FreeFlow® print servers for this device now render at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi—over 300% more pixels than other presses in this class. Applications are then imaged at 2,400 x 2,400 dpi. EFI is also offering a 10-bit rendering feature, Fiery Ultra Smooth Gradients, for perfectly smooth sweeps and gradients.
The Versant 2100 Press also offers a new EA Eco Dry Ink formula, which produces a low-gloss, vibrant look to images.

More Flexibility.
Three outstanding print servers options are available to choose from, depending on workflow needs. The FreeFlow Print Server offers the ultimate in portfolio continuity for transaction and transpromotional application support. Additionally, EFI offers two options: a standard print EX Print Server and an EX-P which is a HyperRIP offering up to 40% more performance. Both EFI digital front ends are packed with exclusive graphic arts workflow and technology features.

From start to finish, the Versant 2100 delivers incredible media and finishing flexibility. With up to 6 pick points, the press can pack over 5,000 sheets of media punch. In addition, a new Stock Library Manager makes it easy to create, manage and profile stocks. It also gives you expert-level control over a variety of features, such as fuser temperature, roller pressures and more.
More Results.
Everyone defines success and measures results differently. Whether your emphasis is on cost savings or generating more revenue, the Xerox Versant 2100 Press can help you deliver…all while putting hours back in your day.
Gone are the days where you are forced to do more with less. It’s time to start doing more, with more.
