Minuteman Press Sets Sail with Xerox Versant 80 Press

Output quality limitations. Registration inaccuracies. Print speed shortcomings.
These were the choppy waters Chris Maguire, Minuteman Press franchise owner, was navigating with his previous press manufacturer.
That all changed in May 2015 when Maguire invested in a Xerox Versant 80 Press for his Wall, New Jersey location.
“We’ve been thrilled with the print quality coming off our Versant 80. It’s spot on every time. I could count on one hand how many times I’ve had to do any image shifting or manual adjustments. That means I’m spending more time on things that matter inside my shop.”

Ask Maguire of his favorite features on the Xerox Versant 80 and he responds without hesitation.
Envelope printing.
Previously forced to outsource the production of any envelope jobs that came into his center, Maguire can now produce all short-run envelopes in-house and with a rapid turnaround.
Other features he values include the press’ output quality, associated technical support, ease of use, and automatic supplies replenishment. These were the stories Maguire shared during a dinner cruise, sponsored by Xerox, where fellow Minuteman Press Franchisees boarded the Spirit of Manhattan for an evening of education and networking along Weehawken, New Jersey.
